Selling accounts (multi-account)

👥 Selling accounts (multi-account)

A selling account is your account on a site, recognised by its username: for example your Vinted account "julie_vend". FlowDino handles several accounts per site, with no limit: your automations, sales and messages are linked to the right account.

🔍 Your accounts are detected automatically

There is nothing to declare. As soon as the extension works on a site (publishing, fetching sales, messages…), it reads the username of the signed-in account and adds it to your selling accounts.

Find them in "Dashboard" › "My selling accounts", grouped by site.

ColumnContent
AccountThe account's username on the site.
AutomationsThe number of scheduled tasks of this account.
Last runThe last task run for this account, and the browser that ran it.
Last activityThe last action recorded for this account (publishing, renewal, etc.).
Status"Active" or "Removed", with the button to change it.

⚠️ The username is the identifier. If you change your username on a site, FlowDino sees it as a new account: it joins your automations, and you can remove the old one.

⚙️ One automation covers all your accounts

When you choose a site in an automation, FlowDino creates a task for each of your active accounts on that site, with the same settings. You never pick accounts: the usernames concerned are shown under the list of sites, for information.

  • When editing, all the tasks of the site's accounts are updated together.
  • An account detected later automatically joins all the automations of its site.
  • If the site has no known account yet, a single task is created; it takes the username of the first account detected.
  • In "My automations", each task is shown as "Site · username", with its next run.

💡 When multi-account was rolled out, your existing automations were completed: accounts that had no task received one, paused. Activate them from "My automations" whenever you like.

🌐 One account per site and per browser

A browser can only be signed in to one account per site. To run several accounts of the same site, sign in to each account in a different browser or Chrome profile, with the FlowDino extension signed in to the same FlowDino account.

An account's tasks are run by a browser signed in to that account. There is no computer to choose: the signed-in account decides.

1

In Chrome, click your profile picture at the top right, then "Add" to create a profile.

2

In this new profile, install the FlowDino extension and sign it in to your FlowDino account.

3

Sign in to the selling site with your second account.

4

The account appears in "My selling accounts" after the extension's first action, and joins your automations.

SituationWhat happens
Three Vinted accounts in three profilesEach profile runs its account's tasks, in parallel.
The same account open on two computersThe first available computer runs the task; it never runs twice.
A computer is switched offAnother browser signed in to the same account takes over.
You switch accounts on the site in a browserThat browser runs the new account's tasks, and no longer the old one's.

⏸️ Removing or reactivating an account

"Remove" stops all the account's automations and blocks replies from messaging. Its history, sales and conversations are kept. Useful for example for a relative's account signed in in your browser.

"Reactivate" restarts its automations. The account also joins the automations of its site created while it was removed.

📊 Listing quota and username check

  • The listing quota is still set per site: your accounts on the same site share the same quota.
  • The "Username check" (on by default) prevents publishing an item already published by another of your accounts on the same site. To publish the same item on two accounts of the same site, untick it.
  • Deletion and renewal only affect the listings of the signed-in account.

❓ Frequently asked questions

The automations of one of my accounts don't run.

Check that a browser signed in to that account is open, with the extension signed in, and that the account is "Active". The "Last run" column shows when and where it last ran.

An account I don't use appears in the list.

It was signed in in one of your browsers while the extension was working. Remove it: FlowDino will no longer use it for automations.

Can I have two accounts of the same site in one Chrome profile?

Not at the same time: a profile has only one session per site. Use one Chrome profile per account.
